Don’t forget that the homework packet is given the first day of the week and is due no later than Friday. Students can also use ALEKS to practice at home if they would like. They will need to get their username from me before they log in the first time. This is a great computer program that helps to review all math concepts.

We will be having a vocabulary quiz on the words we have discussed in lessons 1 and 2 next week. Students will be given the exact words to study on Monday and we will review in class. Quiz will either be Tuesday or Wednesday--it will be on the assignment board when a decision is made.

We are finishing up Objective 1--Place Value and Rounding. We will review on Monday and take the Unit test on Tuesday. To study, students can refer back to their notes in their math journals as well as any of the videos that they have watched for this objective. They can access these videos using their checklist in Google Classroom.
Wednesday we will begin our new unit--addition and subtraction. We will move through this unit a little faster and hopefully finish in about a week and then move on to multiplication and division.
