Math News

We will be taking the Topic 4 test on Thursday.  I will also start counting ALEKS as a grade this week.  Each Monday, I will give a grade for the topics mastered the previous week.  Students must master 5 topics this week.  They can work on ALEKS in class or at home.

Don’t forget that you can access your child’s text book at www.pearsonsuccessnet.com  Their username is their school number id and the password is richland2.   

Science News

We watched our “Wild Weather” videos this past Friday.  Everyone did a great job!  This week we will be tying up loose ends on Weather and by Friday, we will begin our next unit on Astronomy.

Fourth Grade News

We need your child to have headphones or ear buds in class everyday.  I have a few sets that I purchased from the dollar store that I can loan out, but sometimes there are more needs than I can meet.  They also need them every time we go to the computer lab.  Please make sure your child brings them to school everyday.

Report cards will go home on Thursday, November 5th.  

Our Brattonsville field trip has been rescheduled for Tuesday, December 15th.  More information will come out closer to that date.

 

Mrs. Benson’s Homeroom News

The Bear Stomp was a great success!  The children had a lot of fun doing different activities on the track.

Thanks for helping our homeroom to be the Spirit Flag winner again this month.
